The explosion at the Cherkizovsky market

The explosion occurred on 21 August 2006 as a result of the terrorist attack 12 people were killed and 47 were injured. The explosive power of 1.5 kg of TNT exploded at a busy junction between the two markets. Among the victims: Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Chinese, Vietnamese, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Gypsies and Azeris.
