the Chairman of the West Berlin CDU, Peter Lorenz, was kidnapped on the way to service 27.2.1975 militants D2 that was the first case of abduction in the history of German terrorism. On the highway at 8: 55 a.m. his car was blocked by a truck and a passenger car, after which Laurence was taken away in an unknown direction. D2 issued a proclamation: "the Armed men and women of D2 was taken prisoner by the Chairman of the West Berlin CDU, its leading candidate in the elections on March 2, Peter Lorenz". For the release of Lorenz, the terrorists demanded the release from prison of Germany a number of terrorists. The government made an agreement with D2, the exchange took place. Later, the terrorists received thus freedom, again took part in the activities of the RAF and D2. Given the latter circumstance, the Federal government refused to further the practice of agreements with terrorists.
